The Best September 2026 Beauty Launches
September usually brings a steady trickle of new products, but this year our inboxes have been overflowing. So we've broken it down by category: the complexion heroes, the lip buys, the skincare worth the splurge, the hair kit and the new supplements to know. And if you're wondering where scent is, we've done a separate new fragrances article. [This article contains affiliate advertising links. Sarah Creal Beauty Face Flex Correct Instant Under Eye Brightener, £44

After 30 years developing products for other brands, including co-founding Victoria Beckham Beauty, Sarah Creal launched her own in the US in 2024, formulating, testing and photographing everything on women over 40. Investors told her it wouldn’t work but Sarah Creal Beauty now has a large and loyal US following, and the brand has now landed in the UK and Ireland, exclusively at Space NK.

One of our favourite products in the line is the Face Flex Correct Instant Under Eye Brightener. There is an art to disguising dark circles without making the under-eye area look heavily made-up. Sarah Creal’s approach starts with colour correction: neutralising discolouration so that concealer has less work to do. Face Flex Correct offers buildable coverage for targeted brightening, making it particularly interesting for anyone whose instinct is to keep adding concealer when shadows show through. Use a little exactly where the darkness sits, blend carefully at the edges, then assess how much extra coverage you actually need.

Jones Road Wide Awake Brightening Concealer, £30

Bobbi Brown’s new under-eye concealer arrived on 15 September with a name, Wide Awake, that promptly caused a stir: Molly Sims pointed out her YISE Beauty eye cream got there first. Brown has apologised and a new name is on its way.

Bobbi Brown has spent decades making the case for makeup that looks like good skin, and this creamy pot concealer fits neatly into that philosophy: an easy-to-apply hydrating formula giving medium, buildable coverage, with marshmallow root, rice bran and licorice root to brighten, plus shea butter and squalane so it never looks dry or cakey. Available in twenty-five shades, it promises up to eight hours of wear.

Trinny London Fearless Skin Tint Drops, £45

The name suggests a whisper of coverage, but Trinny’s new Fearless Skin Tint Drops have more substance. Delivering medium, buildable coverage with a luminous finish, in a formula developed with the needs of skin over 40 in mind. Available in 30 shades, they bridge the gap between an easy everyday tint and a more polished foundation. Shake the bottle, warm a few drops between fingertips and blend from the centre of the face outwards, adding extra coverage only where redness or uneven tone calls for it. A promising proposition for anyone who wants their makeup base to look fresh and feel like a second skin.

Lips

Bella Freud Ciao Lip Oil, £12

Bella Freud’s first beauty collection, Glamorama, is exclusive to Boots. She calls it “glamour armour” and deliberately left out foundation and concealer, preferring beauty that lifts your mood to beauty that hides your flaws (her signature mole, she says, is staying). The Ciao Lip Oil is the entry point: jojoba-rich, non-sticky and £12. But her Hand Duo (£30) also jazzes up any bathroom, and the Transference Mood Spray (£15), a neroli and amber mist built around orange flower, a scent from her childhood in Morocco. We also love the Bored and Beautiful Vanity Case (£80), which bundles the spray with a vitamin E lip balm and highlighter.

rhode Peptide Lip Tint in Pretzel and Lemontini, £20

Two of rhode’s most-requested limited editions are coming back at the end of this month as rhode celebrates its European Sephora expansion on 30 September. Pretzel, a shimmering warm mauve with a caramel-glazed pretzel scent, feels particularly well timed for autumn; while Lemontini’s sheer gold shimmer lkeeps a little summer  in the makeup bag. There’s also a sure-to-sellout limited-edition Baby Bubble Bag in Pretzel to carry them in.

Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Peptide Gloss Balm in Toasted Vanilla, £26

The treatment-meets-gloss category continues to earn its place in our handbags. Paula’s Choice combines peptides with shea butter in a formula designed to moisturise lips while giving them a fuller-looking, glossy finish. Toasted Vanilla adds a suitably comforting note for the change in season. It makes sense for anyone who likes the polish of gloss but wants the cushioning feel of a balm (so pretty much everyone), and we forsee it being a makeup bag staple as cooler weather starts to make lips feel dry. Wear it alone for easy shine or over lip colour.

Skincare

Clé de Peau Beauté Restorative Cream Supreme, £324.50

Clé de Peau’s new day-and-night cream arrived in Asia over the summer and landed here this month. Its focus is recovery: how quickly skin bounces back, and how well it holds on to moisture. Sitting firmly at the indulgent end of skincare, it combines a rich texture with a focus on the appearance of firmness, resilience and wrinkles.

Designed for use morning and evening, Restorative Cream Supreme will particularly interest those who enjoy an enveloping moisturiser and want one substantial cream to anchor their routine. The brand draws inspiration from regenerative medicine, although the immediate impact is just as alluring: intensive moisture and a smoother, more supple-looking complexion.

La Prairie Swiss Pristine Essence, £155; Serum, £260; Cream, £225

La Prairie has a name for how most of us feel by September: “modern fatigue”, meaning the combined effect of pollution, poor sleep, screens and stress on the skin barrier. Swiss Pristine is their answer – a three-step collection comprising an essence, serum and cream. Made with sensitive skin in mind, the lightweight essence prepares the skin, the serum focuses on barrier repair, and the cream provides the moisturising final layer. Hydration, comfort and resilience are the central themes, giving this launch particular relevance as the weather changes and skin starts to feel less settled.

The new ingredient is HyPower LP52, a patented active derived from a Swiss microorganism that helps skin cope with stress. It’s joined by encapsulated glacial minerals (calcium, magnesium and potassium, released on contact) and the house’s signature Cellular Complex. The complete ritual has obvious appeal for La Prairie devotees, but if you only buy one, make it the serum, which the brand says repairs the barrier seven times faster.

PERS Triple Exfoliator, £65

With their latest launch, French skincare brand PERS takes a comprehensive approach to exfoliation, combining three kinds of exfoliation in one tube: chemical (5% fruit AHAs and 5% glycolic acid), enzymatic, and a fine volcanic perlite for gentle physical polish, with 5% niacinamide to calm things down. Massage it into damp skin for a minute as a scrub, or leave it on for five to ten minutes as a mask, every other evening. It’s suitable for sensitive skin and pitched at anyone who can’t tolerate retinol, including during pregnancy. It is also the final formula developed by PERS co-founder Dr Antoni Calmon, who sadly passed away in March, and a fitting product from a doctor whose approach was always about restraint, glowing skin, and natural results.

Hair

NOOĀNCE Paris X400 LED and Laser Hair Helmet, £899; X600 Expert LED and Laser Hair Helmet, £1,249

At-home beauty technology is paying increasing attention to the scalp. LED masks made light therapy normal for skin; NOOĀNCE Paris wants helmets to do the same for the scalp. Both devices use 655nm red light through a combination of lasers and LEDs. The X400 has 100 lasers and 300 LEDs, targeting the temples, hairline and crown. The X600 Expert packs in 300 of each, delivering light as close to the roots as possible to help slow shedding, encourage growth and improve density over time.

The distinction matters when comparing the two substantial price tags, but so does the commitment involved. These are devices intended for consistent use over months, with results varying between individuals. Anyone considering one should understand the cause of their hair loss first; sudden or significant shedding warrants a dermatologist’s assessment. But for those exploring light-based hair technology, both should be high on the list.

Olaplex Shape Set Hairspray, £32

Olaplex has launched their first ever hairspray. Shape Set offers medium, buildable hold, a brushable finish, and the brand’s broken bond technology, bringing Olaplex’s focus on hair strength into the final styling step.

The formula uses the brand’s Bond Set technology, with flexible-hold polymers for frizz control and they’ve also included heat protection as part of the brief. Think softly structured blow-dries, waves with movement and updos that need a little extra staying power. Apply in light layers as you style, building hold where it is needed.

Tangle Teezer The Complete Carebrush, £22

New from the brand that rethought the humble hairbrush, Tangle Teezer’s Complete Carebrush combines detangling, smoothing, shine and scalp massage, using diagonally arranged, two-tier teeth designed to let hair pass through from different angles. There are versions for fine, straight-to-wavy and curly-to-coily hair, making the choice more specific than simply picking a favourite colour. For anyone reassessing their hair routine after summer, a brush suited to their texture to minimise damage is a great place to begin.

Wellness

Green People Advanced Pro-Collagen Skin Defence Supplement, £29.50

Collagen supplementation is everywhere but Green People’s latest supplement takes a vegan approach to collagen support – providing your body with everything it needs to produce its own. Its central ingredient is Vollagen, an amino-acid complex providing the 18 amino acids associated with collagen’s composition, alongside vitamin C, minerals and antioxidants. The distinction is useful: this is an amino-acid-based formula, rather than a source of animal collagen. For those who prefer vegan supplements, it offers another option to consider as part of their nutritional routine, with the focus on supporting skin from within.

OVA OVAFlo, £15.99, and OVAXtra, £25.99

Women’s health brand OVA spent a year and more than 20 formulas getting these two right, prompted by messages from its community: teenagers with no explanation for their symptoms, women with irregular cycles, and a growing number of women over 35 going through IVF and asking what more they could do.

OVAFlo is designed to support your entire monthly cycle, encouraging hormone balance, more balanced moods, and more regular cycles, whether yours has been thrown off by PMS, PMOS (the condition previously known as PCOS), endometriosis or coming off the pill. Its ten ingredients include myo-inositol, NAC and vitamin D3.

OVAXtra is aimed at women who are either 35+, or trying to conceive, preparing for egg freezing or IVF, or recovering after loss, and OVA says it’s the first UK fertility supplement to include NAD+ (as nicotinamide riboside chloride), the longevity compound now at the centre of egg-health research. Both are third-party batch tested. If you’re having fertility treatment, are pregnant or take medication, check with your doctor or clinic before adding anything new.
