October: The New Destinations & Treatments To Know
From the *very* exciting UK launch of one of the world’s most beloved beauty retailers to a bumper women’s health festival and the makeover of an iconic Parisian spa, this is the beauty news to know this month.
Destination: Sephora takes over Feelunique

If you’ve always had to carve out half your suitcase for your Sephora haul when you head to Europe or the States (same!), you’ll be excited to learn that you can now access the beauty behemoth’s offerings from the comfort of your own sofa. After acquiring e-tailer Feelunique in 2021, Sephora officially took over the reins of the site on October 17th, supplying lines like Tarte, Makeup by Mario and the reliably excellent Sephora Collection that were previously unavailable on British shores. Prefer to do your swatching and shopping in store? Hopefully we won’t have too long to wait: a bricks-and-mortar London address is slated in the not too distant future (we’ve heard rumours of a spring 2023 opening).

Treatment: MAHSA x Sarah Bradden Combined Treatment

This month sees two of London’s most renowned aesthetic practitioners joining forces. Dental surgeon Dr Mahsa Nejati and founder of the ultra-chic oral care label MAHSA has teamed up with cosmetic acupuncturist and creator of The Bradden Method Sarah Bradden to create a two-in-one, inflammation-fighting treatment. Reflecting the importance of the teeth and gums to our whole body ecosystem, the experience starts with MAHSA’s antiseptic treatment to remove potentially harmful bacteria (which can contribute to disease throughout the body) and is rounded out with blue light therapy and hydrogen peroxide to leave teeth pearly white. Then you’ll enjoy 45 minutes of The Bradden Method, which fuses elements of cosmetic acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine and biohacking technologies to further lower inflammation and promote overall wellbeing. The treatment will be available at the soon to be opened Nejati Clinic in Belgravia.

Destination: The Ritz Paris Spa Reopens

One of the French capital’s most iconic addresses, The Ritz Paris has long been synonymous with the height of luxury – and the recent renovation of their unapologetically indulgent spa has only further cemented this reputation. A floral theme is threaded throughout the newly revamped space, from a striking pendant light comprising hundreds of porcelain flowers to the hand-painted murals that adorn the treatment rooms where massages and Biologique Recherche facials are on offer. For some head-to-toe pampering, you can also book in for a haircut with renowned stylist David Mallett or a luxurious hand and foot treatment care of Manicurist. Members of their newly opened (and very exclusive) Private Club can keep fit in the chicest of settings, with 40 classes in pilates, Hatha yoga, circuit training and more available every week.
