It's time for our round-up of the best new product launches and it's fair to say that March did not disappoint. Brace yourselves: it’s going to be a radiant ride.
Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush, £26

Rare Beauty’s Soft Pink Liquid Blush regularly sells out across stores. Which is why we predict Selena Gomez’ latest launch will do the same.

Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush, is like a lovechild of Rare Beauty bestsellers –  blending the weightless colour of Soft Pinch Liquid Blush with the sheen of Positive Light Highlighter, to give the most beautiful, radiant finish. This blush is unexpectedly smooth and lightweight, yet offers a transfer-proof, smudge-proof, and water-resistant formula, ensuring long-lasting wear. Available in six shades like Cheer (light warm pink) and Love (terracotta), it only launched yesterday at SpaceNK and Sephora but is already selling like hot cakes. Run run run!

Guido Palau x ZARA Hair Collection, £15.99

A backstage beauty favourite, renowned stylist Guido Palau, known for his innovative and sometimes rebellious take on traditional hairstyles, is finally bringing his decades of styling experience to this affordable yet convincingly good collaboration with ZARA.

Called “Everyday Basics”, the range comprises a meticulously crafted suite of six key products, each one designed to provide a styling solution for a variety of hair needs, while embodying Palau’s iconic artistry with practical functionality. The collection includes a Volumizing Mousse, a Dry Texturizing Spray, a Blow-Dry Spray, a Curl Activator, a Hair Spray, and a Light Hair Balm. These products aim to cover the essential styling demands ranging from smoothing frizz to setting an up-do, enhancing curls, and adding texture, all while being accessible at a price point of £15.99 each.

Our verdict? Guido’s approach is start simple, but make it extraordinary. From the Hair Balm that banishes frizz with a whisper, not a shout, to the Curl Activator that brings definition without the drama, each product is a testament to the power of essentials done right. With Jérôme Epinette’s fresh fragrances (he’s also the nose behind Victoria Beckham’s perfume line, another DESTINO team favourite) wrapped in tactile packaging, this line doesn’t just walk the talk—it struts it.

Ultra Violette’s Queen Screen SPF50+ Luminising SKINSCREEN™, £38

We can’t tell you how much we’ve missed Ultra Violette’s Queen Screen, which quickly became a cult favourite before being tantalisingly unavailable while they reformulated it to make it even better.

Fear not, Queen Screen loyalists; the essence of your beloved serum hasn’t changed. Its silky texture, perfect as a primer, and the iconic luminous finish are all still there, but it now has an ultra-indulgent rose scent, alongside a host of additional skin-nourishing ingredients that makes this much more than just an SPF.

The reformulation introduces Tinosorb M & S alongside Uvinul A Plus and Uvinul T150 for broad-spectrum protection that’s kinder to your skin. But it doesn’t end there. Vi boosts the formula with D-Panthenol to calm, Glycerin to lock in moisture, and Pentavitin for lasting hydration. The standout? IBR-Solage from pink microalgae for firmness, and Superox-C™ from Kakadu Plum for a brightened, even skin tone, plus a healthy dose of Vitamins E and F for that extra skin barrier and antioxidant protection.

Why we’re excited: unlike some disappointing reformulations, Ultra Violette has managed to elevate a staple product without compromising on the qualities that made it such a must-have. Ideal for those seeking serious sun protection coupled with a dose of hydration, we expect Queen Screen 2.0 to be a best-seller.

Virtue Damage Reverse Serum, £59

No one likes split ends, which is why we were intrigued to try Virtue’s new Damage Reverse Serum. Featuring Virtue’s groundbreaking Alpha Keratin 60ku®, it’s a biotech breakthrough with clinical studies showing that it repairs 98% of split ends and makes hair more resistant to damage.

You use 2-3 pumps of the cream formula on clean, damp hair and while we can’t say for sure that 98% of split ends disappeared, our hair did feel (and smell) lusciously soft.

Jo Malone Scented Mementos Collection, From £58

This month, Jo Malone London has taken an olfactory escapade to a British antique markets with its “Scented Mementos” collection. Each fragrance in this limited-edition series tells a story, inspired by trinkets and treasures that hold memories of bygone days, all housed in uniquely collectible bottles that are as much a keepsake as the scents themselves.

Céline Roux, the visionary behind these creations, explained that the collection is born out of a love for the hunt and the stories unearthed in the process, from high-end boutiques to humble finds at a car boot sale. It’s an ode to the romance of antiquing, transformed into scents that speak volumes.

The collection includes:

  • Ginger Beer Cologne: This cologne stirs the senses with the zesty vivacity of ginger, mellowed by the warmth of cinnamon and the depth of roasted oak. It’s like sipping on your favourite British beverage and getting a soothing hug.
  • Passiflora Cologne: Capturing the exotic essence of a picture of a passiflora flower, it’s a floral mix of honeysuckle countered by the richness of moody almond and tonka beans.
  • Emerald Thyme: An aromatic citrus blend that offers a refreshing burst of lemon harmonised with thyme and rosemary, nestled in a soft mossy embrace. Akin to a (fragrant) breath of fresh air.
  • Musk Memento: Inspired by a ceramic soap dish, this is a understated yet elegant scent that blends soft musk with hints of English lavender and cedar wood.
  • Dawn Musk Home Candle: For £59.00, this candle extends the musky, clean narrative into your living space, enveloping it in the warm, nostalgic embrace of soft musk and amber, underscored by the comforting depth of warm woods.

You can also order a sample pack too, which we love as a way to explore how each fragrance develops over time. But be warned: it’s a limited edition range the we expect to sell out swiftly.
