RéVive Moisturizing Renewal Oil & RéVive Masque de Brilliance
One of our favourite luxury skincare brands, RéVive is getting the year off to a big start by releasing two new products. If you aren’t familiar with the brand, it was founded by renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Gregory Brown who applied a study on Nobel Prize-winning Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) – which was primarily designed to heal burns but was found to significantly rejuvenate healthy skin too – to launch RéVive with just one product (their hero Moisturising Renewal Cream (£165) containing their patented EGF based Bio Renewal Peptide) in 1997. It rapidly garnered a cult following and several other best-selling SKUs have since been added to the range (as well as the original cream we can’t get enough of their Moisturizing Renewal Day Cream SPF 30 (£165) and the results of their Intensité Volumizing Serum Ultime (£495) (which is a punchy price but devotees say it’s as good as having fillers).
Fast forward to 2023, and first up is the launch of their RéVive Moisturizing Renewal Oil Triple Defense Hydrator (£170). A glow-enhancing, light-weight oil that helps protect the skin against free radical damage and dehydration (two things that Dr. Brown has identified as major ways the ageing process can be accelerated). It contains the aforementioned RéVive hero Bio Renewal Peptide, as well as natural hydrators like Sweet Almond, Evening Primrose and Rosehip Seed oils, antioxidant-fighting Turmeric, and brightening Vitamin C. We love it because it leaves skin feeling replenished and protected, particularly at this time of year when cold weather and central heating can leave it looking and feeling distinctly lacklustre.
Next up is the RéVive Masque de Brilliance Resurfacing Multi-Acid Mask (£130). A blend of Glycolic, Salicylic, and Lactic Acids that quickly get to work removing dead skin cells. The Bio-Renewal Peptide is also in there, plus Niacinamide and Sodium Hyaluronate to instantly reveal smoother, brighter skin and juicer-looking skin. Designed to be used weekly, you apply it for up to five minutes at night. There might be some tingling but the results are impressive – smooth post-facial-esque skin. Who said January had to be dull?
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter
Her latest product is the Hollywood Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter (£38) and it has already been winning accolades from all corners of the internet, with fans delighting in its pigmented buttery-powder texture that allows you to easily build a glossy shine. We can’t get enough of how it makes bone structure pop and the fact that it stays put all day. There are seven shades in total ranging from a pale gold to bronze, so you’ll be able to find one that suits your skin tone perfectly. A sure-fire best-seller, so grab it while you can.
ARTAH 21 Day Metabolic Reset
ARTAH is the brain child of nutritionist, naturopath and wellness expert Rhian Stephenson. Combining brilliant supplements alongside detailed nutrition programs, fans rave about ARTAH’s delicious food and finally being able to overhaul their health.
This month, they’ve launched their latest nutrition programme called The Metabolic Reset (£30). It’s a 21 day plan designed to help you understand your metabolism and the key drivers of imbalance, reprogram your metabolism to prevent cravings and boost energy and reduce inflammation and improve immunity. There are 85 delicious recipes that can be tailored to your own dietary preferences and it guides you through their 4-5-4 approach, which combines intermittent fasting methods with a 5-day modified keto sprint (less scary than it sounds with these recipes to guide you through) that allows your body to tap into its fat-burning potential. For an additional boost, you can opt for The Ultimate Metabolic Reset (£80) package, which includes their Cellular Hydration (£32) (an electrolyte powder that fuels your microbiome and supports your energy and mood throughout the day) and Metabolic Fix (£32), a supplement designed to improve insulin regulation and stabilise blood sugar.
Clinique Take The Day Off Charcoal Cleansing Balm
A satisfyingly deep black, buttery-soft balm-to-oil cleanser infused with detoxifying Japanese charcoal that melts upon contact with the skin. Like the original, it’s designed to remove even the most heavy-duty makeup and sunscreen but thanks to the addition of charcoal, it means that it also helps to really draw out any impurities in the pores and balance excess oil, without leaving the skin feeling stripped. Particularly great for combination or oilier-prone skin types, we’ve loved using it in the mornings before a shower to wake skin up and leave it with a smooth, hydrated base that feels perfectly prepped for skincare and make-up.
Founded by award-winning former beauty director-turned acupuncturist, Joanna Ellner, REOME (pronounced ‘rome’) launches this week exclusively with Space NK. Based on the TCM law of yin and yang, the brand aims to utilise the most transforming actives in order to repair and soothe skin.
The first product to launch is their Active Recovery Broth (£110), a clinically proven serum that’s taken 28 months to perfect. Powered by 16 bio-mimetic (synthetic ingredients that mimic those with which the body is naturally already familiar with) and bio-fermented actives (probiotics that help repair the skin barrier and protect it) the serum “layers a veil of healing care over overwhelmed complexions.”
The result? It provides seven clear skin benefits: cellular nourishment, a fortified barrier, boosted skin health and brighter, smoother, plumper and more radiant skin.
The Active Recovery Broth launches on January 26th exclusively in Space NK.
