It has been a month of exciting beauty launches, with brands from around the world bringing out innovative and luxurious products. From skincare to fragrance, here are April's Top 5 new beauty products that are causing a buzz in the industry.
Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skincare, From £10
Lisa Eldridge

Make-up artist and YouTube sensation Lisa Eldridge pretty much broke the internet when she launched her lipsticks back in 2018. This week, she’s endeavouring to do it again with her new highly anticipated skincare line.

With a career spanning over two decades, Lisa Eldridge has established herself as one of the world’s most renowned makeup artists, known for creating stunning, fresh complexions on her clients. Now, she’s taking her expertise to the next level with a range of products that focus on skin health and radiance.

These ingredient-focused products (so far, there’s a luxurious balm cleanser, cleansing cloths and makeup enhancing mist) have been rigorously tested and diligently researched to ensure the best-in-class, clinically proven efficacy and suitability for every skin type. The formulas are also intellectually owned by Eldridge (rather than being white labelled, a common practice in skincare).

The Skin Enhancing Treatment Cleanser (£43) is a 3-in-1 product that goes from a balm to an oil to a milk as you use it and combine it with water. You can therefore use it as a cleanser, a face mask and a facial massage treatment balm. Having been tasked with meticulously prepping skin over the years, Eldridge has ensured this cleanser can remove everything from waterproof SPF through to the longest-wearing makeup and has also designed a pack of two Luxuriously Gentle Cleansing and Exfoliating Cloths (£10) to go with it.

The Skin and Makeup Enhancing Mist (£37) is brilliant – infused with 98% natural, skin-loving ingredients like radiance-boosting Niacinamide and skin-lifting Filmexel, Eldridge created this to be used throughout the day. First-up to create the perfect base for makeup in the mornings but also to mist on after makeup to give it a seamless, fresh glow. Be warned, it’s addictive.

KILIAN Paris Blue Moon Ginger Dash, £185

KILIAN Paris is known for its sophisticated and complex fragrances, and its latest limited edition fragrance, Blue Moon Ginger Dash, is no exception. Inspired by founder Kilian Hennessy’s favourite summer cocktail, a Blue Lagoon, the cult favourite beachside party drink of the 90s, this fragrance is a true embodiment of summer.

The fragrance opens with a burst of Lemon essence, combined with Calone, which adds an “on the rocks” feel for inimitable freshness. This is a signature KILIAN Paris move that sets the fragrance apart from the rest. The scent then leads to a Vodka accord, along with Organic Ginger essence, all set on a base of white Musk, with Ambroxan resonating notes from start to finish.

The perfume notes include Lemon, Calone, Vodka accord, Ginger, and Ambroxan and was created by the talented perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur, who has masterfully combined the notes to create a fragrance that’s fresh, spicy, and alluring.

Blue Moon Ginger Dash is already garnering rave reviews from perfume enthusiasts and collectors alike. KILIAN Paris has once again raised the bar for high-end perfumes with this exquisite fragrance, and it’s sure to be a hit this summer.

myBlend, From £30

myBlend is already one of the biggest brand launches of the year and it is only April. It’s founded by Dr. Olivier Courtin, a French beauty expert who co-founded the iconic Clarins skincare line. After many years of research and experience, Dr Olivier Courtin observed that the healing of his patients’ skin depended less on their age and more on their lifestyle. Diet, exercise, sleep, emotional stress and environment appeared to be the key factors in their skin’s regeneration.

myBlend was therefore born with a mission to provide all three pillars of support to aid this regeneration. Products include: concentrated, topical skincare products that contain the essential protective and reparative peptides; ingestible powder supplements to target internal skin repair; and skincare tools to optimise results.

It’s the latter category that has so far caused the biggest buzz, thanks to studies showing that their LED Mask is proven to make skin appear three years younger after just one month of use.

Because this is a brand of the future, it’s also impressively sustainable and B-Corp certified. We love that you can easily see all of the sustainability credentials across packaging and ingredients for every product on their site.

With its focus on high-quality ingredients, cutting-edge technology, and sustainable products, it’s no surprise that myBlend has already become one of Harrod’s most in-demand brands.

Jurlique Aloe Vera Mist and Hand Cream, From £32

Jurlique, the beauty brand renowned for its natural and sustainable skincare, has recently unveiled its latest duo of products featuring the refreshing and nourishing power of aloe vera.

For over 35 years, Jurlique has been using ingredients grown on their incredible certified biodynamic farm in the Adelaide Hills (a location they describe as “the purest place on earth”) in all of their products. But until now, they haven’t been growing aloe vera. The result is a sustainable, potent and pure form of aloe vera that is free from harmful chemicals or pesticides.

They’ve infused it into two new products, with the  range (so far) comprising a refreshing Mist (£36) and nourishing Hand Cream (£32). Both contain 98% and 99% natural ingredients respectively and utilise aloe vera’s brilliant natural ability to soothe and hydrate the skin, leaving it feeling soft, supple, and rejuvenated.

Furthermore, the packaging is made from recycled materials and is fully recyclable, reducing its impact on the environment.
