It may come as a surprise that Glossier waited so long to launch its own foundation. This delay was, of course, deliberate: the brand, committed to its philosophy of perfecting products that celebrate real skin, instead invested years in research, testing, and refinement. The result is a foundation that still celebrates skin first – with a formula comprising 11% coverage and 89% skincare.
Like their best-selling Stretch Balm Concealer, the Stretch Fluid Foundation is therefore enriched with skincare. For the foundation this means Squalane and Glycerin have been added to nourish skin, while Wild Rose Berry is there to prevent excess shine. There are also amino-acid coated pigments, allowing the foundation to flex with facial movements, blur imperfections, and leave behind a breathable, dewy finish reminiscent of healthy, hydrated skin. It's available in 32 shades.
Pair it with their innovative Stretch Face Brush (£28), which is designed for seamless application and involves a densely-packed curved brush that ensures even distribution, optimal coverage, and minimises wastage.
Shake bottle to combine skincare base with amino acid-coated pigments. Apply 1 pump onto clean, moisturized skin. Use more product for extra coverage. Gently blend up and out with fingertips or buff and diffuse with Stretch Face Brush for a seamless finish. Use with Stretch Balm Concealer for added coverage.
