Destino Says...
When a store made famous for delivering “whatever a customer wants” turns its hand to a state-of-the-art wellness clinic, you know you won’t be disappointed.
Situated on the fourth floor, soundproof sliding doors take you from women’s fashion into a chic, 10,000 square foot haven of calm. The services on offer here are comprehensive and have been cherry-picked from around the world: aesthetics from the New York Dermatology Group, facials from 111 Skin, IV drips from the Elixir Clinic, Reiki from Janet Waters, acupuncture from John Tsagaris, medical pedicures from Margaret Dabbs, fitness from the wonderful Louise Parker and the latest body treatments including Emsculpt, Intravenous Light Therapy and a full osteopathy and cryotherapy offering.
This mix of high-tech and traditional therapies enables The Wellness Clinic to offer a 360 degree approach to wellness and you’ll often find that practitioners here will recommend each other (not in a scary up-selling way, although that’s obviously a by-product, but with a conviction that they’re sending you to another world-class expert who happens to be just down the hall).
The clinic itself always feels calm and quiet, despite being booked and in-demand, so much so that you often feel like you’re the only person there and it’s a welcome world away from the shop floor. Trips here feel pampering and decadent (this being Harrods, they do come at a price) and we love added extras like their powder room with skincare and make-up products (it was La Mer & Chantecaille when we visited) to ensure whatever treatment you’ve had, you can reemerge into Harrods feeling as groomed as ever.
