Destino Says...
When Soulcycle first launched in the US there was absolutely nothing like it here in London. While places like Psycle and Boom Cycle quickly changed that, this didn’t stop a frenzy of excitement from fitness fans across town following Soulcycle’s announcement that they’d be opening their first ever European outpost here in London (followed by their Notting Hill branch).
Class wise, it’s clear to see why: while they take a more “British” approach (there are fewer calls to fist-bump your neighbours throughout class than in the US), the aim here is to push your body to the limit amidst pumping music and dim lighting.
We love the fact that lockers come with a phone charger (classes are strictly no-tech zones) and changing rooms come complete with Le Labo and Drunk Elephant toiletries. That being said, lockers and showers are in short supply here, which can make for an annoyingly long wait post class during peak times.
