When it opened the doors of its original King’s Road branch in 2014, Duck & Dry was one of London’s first luxury blow-dry bars. Though that original Chelsea site has since closed, the brand has grown well beyond it — now with five salons across Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Oxford Street, Notting Hill and Battersea (plus their first international site in Doha, Qatar), backed by a new partnership with Hero Brands to fuel further expansion. Their menu has all the staples you’d expect – from bouncy volume to undone waves, which alongside their wide range of up-do’s and brow bar, make it one of our favourite pre-soirée spots. They’ve also developed their own haircare and styling range, so you can recreate the salon finish at home. For groups or special occasions you can hire out an area or the whole place – handy given their salons have dedicated group tables for hen-dos and celebrations.
