When the original Core Collective in High St. Kensington opened in 2015, it quickly became the benchmark for a new generation of class-only gyms thanks to its decidedly cool interiors, members club feel and small class sizes. They’ve subsequently opened two more outposts – one in Knightsbridge and another in St John’s Wood.
Core offers a broad range of class-types, which means that you can get all of your workout fixes under one roof. Feel like burning some energy? Try Lift & Row – a HIIT and weights session or Cycle, their heart-thumping spinning class. Want to work muscles you didn’t know you had? Head for their TRX class. In need of a moment of calm or a core workout? Their Power Yoga and Stretch classes both have a cult following. Even recovering here is a delight: expect refrigerated post-workout towels (yes, really), toiletries courtesy of Bamford and GHD and nutritionally-balanced food from their award-winning Kitchen.
