Lovers of a high-shine lip gloss will fall for the Lip Dew from Vieve, the brainchild of Scottish make-up artist and influencer Jamie Genevieve. Available in four shades (including our favourite, Original, which is clear but flecked with gold), they are ultra-glossy as well as beneficial to the pout, thanks to raspberry seed extract oil and vitamin E. They can be worn either by themselves or can top a lip liner or matte lipstick to dial up the glamour.

Hourglass’s offering provides a finish more akin to a balm than an oil and features a conditioning complex rich in oils to nurture parched lips.
