A natural-looking matte finish sounds like a foundation holy grail - in other words, a pipe dream. But NARS have managed to deliver just that: Soft Matte is matte, yes, and will easily last all day, but your skin will still look beautiful and natural - not cakey and heavy - by evening. It won’t oxidise and change colour on you (a common gripe with full coverage foundations), while micro-algae and hyaluronic acid help to top up hydration levels.
Dispense a small amount onto the back of your hand. One drop delivers full coverage with fingertip application. Pat product with fingertips. Start at the centre of the face and gently press the foundation on skin. Use a stippling motion to blend outward. Work in small sections, focusing on one area at a time.
