If you study your complexion closely, you’ll notice that your skin tone is not entirely uniform, but will likely vary in colour across different parts of your face - especially when you take into account any pigmentation, dark circles, redness or blemishes you might have. And you’ll probably experience shifts in your skin tone depending on the season, too.
Which is why we think Laura Mercier’s two-toned concealer duo is so genius: it allows you to tailor your coverage to match exactly what you’re seeking to conceal, for a flawless finish. But don't just take our word for it - it’s understandably become a make-up artist mainstay with the likes of Lisa Eldridge recommending it regularly.
Start by creating your custom color blend: Use a brush, warming and mixing the two shades on the back of your hand until you find the blend that matches your skin tone. Wipe excess formula off the brush before applying; you don't need very much of this high-pigment formula.
Then use feather-light strokes to apply to the areas of the face that need covering, concealing or camouflaging. After applying with the brush, pat in gently with fingertips. Set with powder if desired.
